He brings with him more than 20 years of professional experience in the general insurance industry across Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. Throughout his career, he has held various senior executive positions including Operations Director, Chief Operating Officer, and Asia Pacific Operations Manager of local and international insurance companies. His core areas of expertise encompass corporate planning and strategy, corporate transformation, and operations management.
Hume attained the Registered Financial Planner (RFP) qualification and is a member of the Malaysia Financial Planning Council (MFPC). He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the United Kingdom and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He is also a certified Compliance Officer, reflecting his strong commitment to regulatory compliance, ethical leadership, and sound corporate governance.

She is also experienced in managing client financial accounts and tax matters across multiple jurisdictions, including Labuan, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Hong Kong, Cyprus, Vanuatu, and the British Virgin Islands, ensuring strict adherence to local regulations and compliance standards. Andrea holds a Bachelor of International Business with a specialization in International Finance, combining strong financial acumen with a client-focused approach to drive operational excellence and support the strategic goals of LIMSL.

Nicholas Yeo
Actuarial Advisor
Nicholas is the actuarial advisor of LIMSL. He is an actuary and founded Actomate in 2015, a leading actuarial firm in Asia. He has over 18 years of experience in actuarial work including life insurance, family takaful, general insurance, general takaful, employee benefits, pension, medical insurance, reinsurance and Insurtech startups. Nicholas held appointed actuary and signing actuary roles in various jurisdiction across Asia. Throughout his career, he has developed various technology and software application including IBNR Robot, ReACC Robot, PET Robot, LRC Robot, LIC Robot, and PAA Robot. Nicholas also has significant experience in captive insurance, offshore insurance, robotic process automation, artificial intelligence and data analytics. Nicholas is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK) and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (US). He is a past Council Member of the Society of Actuaries’ Entrepreneurial & Innovation Section. He is also a past Chairperson of the Professional Development Committee and Events Committee of the Actuarial Society of Malaysia. Nicholas graduated from Bayes Business School with First Class Honours in BSc Actuarial Science. He is also a Certified Internal Auditor from The Institute of Internal Auditors.

Shariah Advisor
Azman is the shariah advisor of LIMSL. He is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the Islamic finance industry, delivering training and consultancy services across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Brunei, Iran, and the Philippines. He has presented papers in cities including Kuala Lumpur, Manama, New York, Tokyo, Brunei, Singapore, Cairo, London, Milan, Taipei, Taroudant, and Abu Dhabi. Azman has served as an external lecturer for the Master in Islamic Banking and Finance (MIBF) program at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He has authored and translated thirteen books (15 volumes) and worked with organizations such as the Institute for Islamic Banking and Finance (IBFIM) and the International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF). Azman has been a consultant to the International Shari’ah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA) and ISRA Consultancy Sdn. Bhd. Additionally, he served as the Director for Malaysia at the Life Underwriter Training Council (LUTC) in Bethesda, Maryland, USA, and as a Member of the Information Panel at AmanahRaya, the Public Trustee of Malaysia. He currently advises several financial institutions in Malaysia and Singapore as a Shariah Advisor. Wong is the Principal Director of LIMSL with over 30 years of distinguished experience in the general insurance industry across Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. He has served as CEO and Managing Director of multiple insurance companies, successfully leading major transformation initiatives and turnaround programs that delivered positive outcomes. Wong has played a significant role in the Malaysian general insurance sector through his active involvement with the General Insurance Association of Malaysia (PIAM), where he served as Deputy Chairman in 2009 and was elected Chairman in 2012. His extensive network and leadership have contributed to industry development and collaboration. He possesses deep technical expertise across insurance disciplines, including captive insurance, reinsurance, claims, and underwriting. Wong is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and is admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. Additionally, he is a certified Compliance Officer, underscoring his commitment to strong governance and regulatory compliance.

Hume brings with him more than 20 years of professional experience in the general insurance industry across Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. Throughout his career, he has held various senior executive positions including Operations Director, Chief Operating Officer, and Asia Pacific Operations Manager of local and international insurance companies. His core areas of expertise encompass corporate planning and strategy, corporate transformation, and operations management. He is a qualified Financial Advisor accredited by Bank Negara Malaysia and a member of the Malaysia Financial Planning Council (MFPC). Hume holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the United Kingdom and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He is also a certified Compliance Officer, reflecting his strong commitment to regulatory compliance, ethical leadership, and sound corporate governance.

She is also experienced in managing client financial accounts and tax matters across multiple jurisdictions, including Labuan, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Hong Kong, Cyprus, Vanuatu, and the British Virgin Islands, ensuring strict adherence to local regulations and compliance standards.
Andrea holds a Bachelor of International Business with a specialization in International Finance, combining strong financial acumen with a client-focused approach to drive operational excellence and support the strategic goals of LIMSL.

Actuarial Advisor
Nicholas is the actuarial advisor of LIMSL. He is an actuary and founded Actomate in 2015, a leading actuarial firm in Asia. He has over 18 years of experience in actuarial work including life insurance, family takaful, general insurance, general takaful, employee benefits, pension, medical insurance, reinsurance and Insurtech startups. Nicholas held appointed actuary and signing actuary roles in various jurisdiction across Asia.
Throughout his career, he has developed various technology and software application including IBNR Robot, ReACC Robot, PET Robot, LRC Robot, LIC Robot, and PAA Robot. Nicholas also has significant experience in captive insurance, offshore insurance, robotic process automation, artificial intelligence and data analytics.
Nicholas is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK) and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (US). He is a past Council Member of the Society of Actuaries’ Entrepreneurial & Innovation Section. He is also a past Chairperson of the Professional Development Committee and Events Committee of the Actuarial Society of Malaysia. Nicholas graduated from Bayes Business School with First Class Honours in BSc Actuarial Science. He is also a Certified Internal Auditor from The Institute of Internal Auditors.

Azman is the shariah advisor of LIMSL. He is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the Islamic finance industry, delivering training and consultancy services across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Brunei, Iran, and the Philippines. He has presented papers in cities including Kuala Lumpur, Manama, New York, Tokyo, Brunei, Singapore, Cairo, London, Milan, Taipei, Taroudant, and Abu Dhabi.
Azman has served as an external lecturer for the Master in Islamic Banking and Finance (MIBF) program at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He has authored and translated thirteen books (15 volumes) and worked with organizations such as the Institute for Islamic Banking and Finance (IBFIM) and the International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF).
Azman has been a consultant to the International Shari’ah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA) and ISRA Consultancy Sdn. Bhd. Additionally, he served as the Director for Malaysia at the Life Underwriter Training Council (LUTC) in Bethesda, Maryland, USA, and as a Member of the Information Panel at AmanahRaya, the Public Trustee of Malaysia. He currently advises several financial institutions in Malaysia and Singapore as a Shariah Advisor.
